I have my theories about Kairi and Riku, and I've been looking for a way to express them (outside of "I have a theory on that..." when the topic comes up)... and I ended up writing a fairy-tale-style game recap around it. Which also wanted to be a doujin. XD So here we go.

Awesome story! I read the whole thing that you have so far. I love the style you've drawn it in and the way you tell the story. I'm so glad to see something from Kairi's point of view. She's definitely an underrated character.

in KH, did Kairi really fall from the sky or did you make that part up?
Cause it would be awsome if that happened in the game :D

I inferred it from what we're told in the game - Sora mentions in a flashback that Kairi appeared on the night of a meteor shower (and meteor showers in this game typically = world's walls breaking), and in one of the Ansem Reports, I think one of the extra ones from Final Mix, he talks about sending a girl to find the Keyblade's chosen one for him or something. Given this, it seems to me that falling from the sky is at least a very real possibility. :D

I keep meaning to comment on and favorite this, but I never seem to get around to it. ^^;

But this is very beautiful work. Everything about it reminds me of a fairy tale book I had when I was little. I love how detailed the art is, even though it's all black and white, and how the writing just...*flails for a word* Well. I'll just say it's amazing and leave it at that. =D

I can't wait for more of these. :heart:

I'm really glad I'm giving that old-fairy-tale feel. :D I've really been enjoying this, working in this style is a fun challenge for me.

Unfortunately I'm in the finals gauntlet right now, and then I've got a bunch of commissions, so this is on hold for a couple weeks, probably. :< I can't wait to get back to it, though.
